Generations Home Series

The objective of the Generations Home is to design a home that meets the individual's needs rather than having the individual adapt to poor design, even as lifestyles and needs change. Universal Design Homes increase the usability of the home for people of all ages, sizes, and abilities and also enhances the ability of all residents to live independently in their own home for as long as possible. Many of the features in the Generations Home are standard elements that are placed or sized differently, such as walkways, lighting, appliances, and light switches. The Advantage Home Universal Design Series' goals are to save energy, simplify housekeeping, and maximize independent living to make a house a home through all that life brings.
